Why spend more?

We got our first big snowfall yesterday and it was beautiful! I quickly went to the closets and starting pulling out all the snow clothes for Luke. After pulling it all out I realized that I didn't buy one of these things brand new (even though they look new! :) Everything I purchased was from local Thrift stores.
Here's a break down of how much his snow outfit cost....

• .50-stocking hat
• $3.00-snow boots
• $3.00-snow jacket
• $1.50-snow pants
• .50-gloves

That's right.... only $8.50! With how little it's worn in one winter, why spend more? And another bonus....Noah will be wearing it in 2 years! :)
