Growing up

Last week we finished Luke's "big boy" room. We wanted him to get used to sleeping in his own bed before the baby comes and figured it'd be one less transition to have to deal with later.
In order for this to happen we were fully prepared for many sleepless nights and waking up to a toddler standing by our bed staring us in the face. However, he TOTALLY proved us wrong!
The first night we put Luke in his bed he was very excited! He kept jumping up and down on the bed saying "mine! mine!" After 45 minutes of him doing this, and escaping from his room a few times, he calmed down and went to sleep.

He's sleeping so well in his new room, we're so proud of him! Now the next transition to work on....potty training.....boooooooo!
